mouse magic don't buy!Oct 30, 2008
By barbara moore
I bought 2 boxes of Mouse Magic about a month ago. Please save your money; it does not work. I still have mice, one of whom I saw run over the packet of Mouse Magic that I had put out. You could almost hear him laugh! I tried to give in a zero star review, but I had to enter something for the review to go through.

One star because they smell good, but DOES NOT WORK!Dec 30, 2008
By B. Babb
We had mice invading the house last winter (2007-2008 season) and nothing was working to encourage the guys to pack up and move.
Due to the quantity of pets we have, we wanted something that wouldn't harm the dogs if they contacted it (so Decon and snap traps were out).
We received these and placed them around according to the package instructions.
We had no decline in mice populations in the house.
In the end we ultimately had to resort to snap traps baited with caramel candy.
These got one star because they smell like spearmint gum when initially opened, but the smell fades within a day and then you have a cloth packet that does nothing.

A mouse chewed the packet open. They like it!Oct 09, 2010

This product is simply "incredible" - in the sense that anyone could claim it repels mice! Last week I put one of the packets on top of my winter scarves and gloves to keep mice away, and two days later a mouse chewed a hole in the packet and spilled the contents all over and through my good scarves. The only way a person could use this to control mice is to bait the traps with it.
It has so little odor, it doesn't even lend a pleasant scent to the room. There was a slight, nice aroma for a couple of days right beside to the packet, and then nothing. And they claim that too much in a room could be "overpowering"!! A hundred packets in a room might lend a little scent and attract a few mice.
I wish I could give this zero stars, or else rate it simply as a sachet. It smells nice to the extent that it smells at all. If you've already bought this, you might want to put it in a small glove box or stationery box, not to repel mice but simply for its pleasant odor.

very dissapointedOct 03, 2012
We placed Mouse magic in our garage to repel mice. I hate using other ways to get rid of them and this seemed ideal. They have been there three days and today I found mouse turds all around a packet and they had bit a hole in it. They had been attracted to it. How was this tested? It did leave a nice smell in the garage.

So far works great!Nov 15, 2009

I found three mice in my basement and lots of droppings so I decided to put out traps baited with peanut butter, and at the same time put down the packets of Mouse Magic.
It has been two weeks and no more mice! It is true that the smell does fade in a few days but so far it has not seemed to have mattered. I am going to get more for my garage today.
